Ingredients:
- 100g of jasmine rice
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 50g of green peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 spring onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Rice cooker
- Pan
- Spatula
- Bowl
Instructions:
- Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to the rice cooker instructions.
- In a pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Crack the egg into the pan and scramble until fully cooked.
- Add the green peas to the pan and stir for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Once the rice is cooked, add it to the pan with the scrambled egg and peas. Stir in the soy sauce, and mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and top with chopped spring onion before serving.
