Egg Rice Delight

Ingredients:

  • 100g of jasmine rice
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 50g of green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 spring onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Rice cooker
  • Pan
  • Spatula
  • Bowl

Instructions:

  • Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to the rice cooker instructions.
  • In a pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Crack the egg into the pan and scramble until fully cooked.
  • Add the green peas to the pan and stir for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Once the rice is cooked, add it to the pan with the scrambled egg and peas. Stir in the soy sauce, and mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and top with chopped spring onion before serving.
